Spotted 2 green NBs and 1 black NC around New Lambton on Saturday. I waved to each of them. Zero return acknowledgements. 0/3! That's my worst score ever. All mature gentlemen drivers. Perhaps they couldn't see me.

It's interesting as far as acknowledgements go ... I've found nearly every NA will respond (if they see me and/or have time), about 50% NB's will, and maybe 20% NC's. So far had only one ND wave of maybe 20-30 waves given ... have a feeling many of the early ND owners are more general car buyers who saw an opportunity to own a convertible for a good price but will soon realise it's not for them and then we'll have "real" owners driving them :mrgreen:

im a waver in my NC

The least waves I've had back are from ND's, followed by young people in NA/NB's. Older generations, (late 20's and onwards) and most people in NC's receive waves.

we generally are a friendly bunch, all the NA's i see "wave" the pop ups, i saw an older lady not long ago in a silver NC...... she started waving like crazy and had a grin ear to ear i didn't expect it

hahaI always find its pretty cool how mx5 owners wave at other mx5 owners. Zero acknowledgments are the funniest, its as if they left you hanging.

Spotted broken down silver NB with roll bar this morning, Willoughby on-ramp to the M1. I stopped to offer assistance but the driver was on the 'phone to the NRMA (nice blonde girl

) . And no I wasn't being a White Knight

I only got a quick glimpse, SBY NA6 on Windsor Road and Old Northern Road at about 10.45 today.

Spotted numerous MX5's on a run through the Royal National Park today. Of note was a very tidy red NB8B, and an immaculate looking Mariner Blue NA parked near the Scarborough Hotel. Didn't catch the regos.

There was also a Honda S2000 parked part way down an embankment off to the side of the road. That has got to ruin your day. :frown:
