Opinions on Kaaz 1.5 for Track Car
I have track day MX-5 (unregistered) which has a welded diff. I have noticed excessive tyre wear at the rear and it is a pain to drive around the pits. The guy who looks after my car, whose mechanical knowledge is second to none, has recommended a Kaaz 1.5 LSD. I am about to go down that path, but would welcome other MX-5 owners' opinions and experiences. My previous LSD would lift an inside rear wheel on tight corners with some loss of traction, and I have to say, the welded diff fixed that problem (obviously).

That, or and OS Giken or a Cusco.
All would work and the the 'right' solution where a welded diff is the 'easy' solution.

Agree with Beavis.
However the rears wearing could be caused by driving style, that is the rears are working harder than the fronts. Do you rotate your tyres?

Hopefully his tyres do rotate 'cos they'd soon flat-spot otherwise

Re: Opinions on Kaaz 1.5 for Track Car
I am going to buy the Kaaz 1.5 LSD and have Googled that for Melbourne and have only found one site: MD Spares. However, my Norton security has put a question mark alongside that address instead of the usual tick. Does anyone know where I can buy one in Melbourne?

Just visited the MD Spares website without any issue from well recognised & up to the minute internet security software. However, if flycasta (Duane) on this forum hasn't already PM'd you, then maybe PM him as he's the diff go to guy.
