What a day. Only 30 runners but we went flat out all day, as we ran only three groups. Barely out of the car before it was time to line-up for the next session. 3 sessions on Clubman, 3 on Sprint, and 1 on National. I am knackered now, but happy with my times.

Thanks for the day Adam!
Will upload some video highlights later this week, have the XR6 going rally style between T1 and T2 not once but twice!
Sprint times - the AR-1's once I got the pressure right after session 1 went very well. Started cold at 28 psi and one went to 39! Bled them down to 35 hot after S1 then again after S2.
S2 - 1:02.0398 1:00.8548 1:00.4958 1:00.6093 1:00.4359
S3 - 1:00.6432 1:00.4062 1:00.2445 1:00.4691 1:00.0955

Was trying to catch the XR6. I do not think I could have dríven with any more commitment, however the data analysis shows that I was slower through T1/T2 than normal...

This is a few highlights as seen from my car. Credit to Wesley Dunlop the driver of the XR6 who not only once but twice went 'rally' style between T1 and T2. The only time I was able to get past the XR6 was in the first session when he was setting tyre pressures! Also Dr Steve Carroll in his Porsche Boxster who once again made the National 'fun'.

That is always a hard choice that straight, if the car comes out of T3 nicley it hits the limiter just before T4 hence an early shift maybe required. However T4 is a 3rd gear corner and I'm not confident yet to do a 5-3 gear change...
I very much enjoy 'racing' Steve on the National, like his dive into T3 I saw what was coming and let him do it safely His Porsche has good brakes!

The S designation on a Boxster mostly means two major changes; a bigger engine, and the same brakes the base 911 has from that year. They do work very well.

Yes that move by the good doctor was entertaining to watch! So was what happened next at turn 4.
