It has certified my decision to not install a roll bar.

Ok, will get some better shots the next time I'm out. Maybe saturday.
Ive actually got a BD to put in but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Is much nicer raising and lowering the roof without it :)

A few weekends ago whilst driving, i noticed a mild rattling sound when on boost.

I have an inconnel stud kit like this one.Image

I hadn't gotten around to refitting the triangle and circlip thingys, since removing the turbo a billion times.

In order to get access, i had to remove the heat shield and my $36 turbo beenie.

Well the beenie and its fine wires got caught up on something and ripped some stitching out. I was also missing a beenie spring.

Image

I went to buy another and the new listed price was $136!

After messaging the seller and receiving a useless response (as you do on ebay), I decided to just buy another in a different colour from the same seller for $36.

This one is listed as gold and I considered this to be less awful than blue.

Image

When checking for the source of the rattle, I noticed that one nut had worked its way loose. Of course it was the hardest one to get to!

Last weekend I got around to tightening all nuts and refitting the triangle and circlip thingys.

I also had loose AN fittings on my catch can from my own lazyness, so they got tightened too.

Today i fitted the fully sic gold beenie and the heat shield.

Being a sunny day, I'm planning on giving the car a polish and hopefully get a chance to take some better pics, amongst some driving :)

With my hoist all the way up, I can still park under it with enough room to raise my roof and bonnet.

Much appreciated Speed. What offset are the rims? Ride height, rim choice and all work well to have it looking neat without attracting unwanted attention. Classy mods. I will be spending the next hour or so looking over these pictures. Cheers mate.

Long time since I last posted.
Have been doing as many weekend drives as possible and the car is going great.

Today I went about fitting some stuff that I'd purchased from beavis motorsports.
Apologies for the dirty car and crappy pics.

Brake stopper (i will eventually be painting this black)
Image

Some fender bolts
Image

Image

Oil cap
Image

Door bushes
Image

Sunvisor blanks
Image

Have had the cup holder for ages so thought I'd finally throw it in.
Also fitted a short shift kit. (Didn't get a pic)
Image

Am really happy with all of it.

The shift kit is great but definitely more force required to shift.

Seemed to be a bit easier after a long drive and multiple shifts.
Even if it doesn't improve its still a well worthwhile mod for the shorter throw and reasonable price.

Surprised how well the door bushes work too and I didnt have to trim or mod them in any way.

Great stuff Beavis, I'm stoked!

Just realised that I haven't posted any pics of my nb brown davis roll bar.
Here I am amongst some plesant company :)

The sparco goes in and out depending upon my mood but I definitely want to fit it back in as the stock seat allows my head to hit the roll bar where the sparco doesn't.
The sparco also gives me a much better driving position, being lower and a head rest that actually supports my head rather than being below it.

Glad you like the short shifter!

I'm a fan of those wheels as well. Do you happen to know how much they weigh?

Haha, i just wrote in your 3 shiney things thread.
Wheel is 14kg with new tyre.
Someone weighed one without a tyre in the wheel weight thread. Think it was 5.5 or 6kg :)
