Too far into the future for me to confirm just yet, but if I can I'll be there for sure.

Unfortunately I can't make it on the 16th October, but I'm sure it will be a great run. I can personally vouch for the Currumbin through Murwillumbah to Kyogle section.

The info I have regarding Lions Road is that it's closed to through access to Qld due to multiple bridges being upgraded. The work is currently scheduled to be finished in December.

Also too far away for me to commit as yet either. Will keep an eye on the thread and see what pans out :)

All ideas/suggestions for alternative runs are welcomed- after all its not so much the destination but the drive! To get a route set up that can accommodate the majority of folks that can attend would be the best option- JBT..... you are the yoda of of the best hidden gems that can be dríven from the south east to the sunny coast

The route looks good to me, just need to get closer to the date before I can work out whether I'll be free :)

Absolutely no issues with the route, always up for new roads and the goldie oldies. I'll know what I'm up to in a few weeks though.

Is this still planned? I wasn't expecting the car to be ready by then after I broke it, but it turns out it'll be good to go.

Got the car back, I'll be there. Good chance to get one last long drive in before I disappear for a month.

Date confirmation, so everybody is up for Oct 15? If so we need a start point and a time. I guess some of the Gold coast participants could suggest somewhere to meet up, I like the idea of an early get away before the masses hit the road in the 4*4's and camrys.
