well its hard to really say who is to blame BUT i'd lay it on the car. it should have had the power in hand to get out of the way and avoid the spray

the human involved was just an irresponsibly bustardo
gladiator
it doesn't look too bad from one side and that's on the right where's there is no damage

on the left where its done, the clear coat is a bit of a fu///in mess. whatever hit it is just attaching the clear coat at a slow pace.
if it was all over the car I could and least say - I stuffed up on the job

BUT its impossible to do a full spray rotation and just get one complete bad side - especially when it wasn't there on the cut

well I put about 100 hours into this and if anything I am lucky the colour "WHITE" never left the thought bank

this incident could be the open door to that start up, not sure yet
I know once that move is made -the work starts

I will have to give this idea a bit of thought really. meanwhile if the idea to go WHITE and BRIGHT carried on over at Corey's garage site he's purchase front/ rear faired guards or whatever for an NB - I send an email today to REV9 for a price landed here in oz
If i do a re-spray I might add a bit of extra and might bump up the wheels too, time will tell. after-all once that sandpaper hits the paint - the party is over or just started

and it's a pretty big party to rub out all traces of the RED paint
that's the way i'd do it anyway. wet rub the lot so I can get a better feel on where I am at paint level rather than power sand...but i'm a pro rubber
I could rub the clear off and prime and paint white over it BUT I would then have a few coats underneath it

so I think it would be best to rub back the clear/red and back to the prime.
it might take a few hours longer to do the prep but I have an excellent canvas to work on so there is really no need to get in and totally fu// it up in haste and spend many more hours just to fix the damage.
it's not hard to paint a good body, but it's friggin hard work to repair and paint a bad one
