Checking in.

Changed my plans a bit. Received my package from Rev9, which I'll add was incredibly helpful in getting exactly what I wanted with impeccable service. The quality of these fender flares are insane, I guess thats just what you get when you buy Made in Japan products.

I'll update with further progress.

Aweseome ride mate, this has to be one of the best examples of an NB i have ever seen. Love the GT wing. Seats look great too, even with the GT wing the car still looks mild, not over the top. Well done. Also like the smoked parts on the tail lights.

Are you going to WTAC this year?

About AUD $470 for the front pair shipPed to Australia. After my set was made, shipping took 5 days to get here from Japan. The slowest part of the shipping was the 4 days it took Aus post to get it down from Sydney, took Japan 1 day to ship it throughout the country and landed in Sydney the next day.

Thank you sir, the wing was a photoshop of what I want to do to it, but i do still plan on getting one. :)

I'll definitely be there, whether the car is in the show & shine completely depends on if I can get the car ready on time and that I get accepted. Are you competing in clubsprint again?

So, I had a mate drop over some wheels to test fit, they are 15x9 -20 w/ 225/45 rs3's. fitment was quite good, contemplating going -15 just so they are completely under the guards. I couldn't test fit the fronts because I need to cut back the fender before I can even mock up the flares. However Im going to need something a bit higher offset on the front because the front over fenders are 30mm and rear is 40mm.

Heres some photos of the rear fitment and mock up. the flares fit amazingly well, they're only taped on with shitty tape, they flex perfectly to the guard with no gaps.

That's about it for the moment folks.

Yeah going to paint them the original red. I was considering moulding the flares in, but I'm going to go bolt on with gloss black hardware, I might even colour match the screws if it looks too "ratchet" with them gloss black.

so is it just a matter of drill and bolt on the front and rear flares plus do the cut out for the front guards or am I missing something obvious

also do you plan to do a photo install thread, think that would be interesting, and if I go ahead on the idea , you beat me to it too

all jokes aside I think seeing I am running a bit of hp this move and wheel upgrade idea might be worth a punt  so I like what you have
