Skid Control Norwell 20/08/17

2 MX5's at Norwell this morning, with a 3rd and 4th MX5 ownesr driving an 86 and a porsche respectively.

The previous time at Norwell was 1:07.58, this time thanks to the Porsche Club having its MyLaps transponders we have some official times now. This time managed a 1:05.992 behind the well setup Datsun dríven Ken (Accurate Suspension) on A050's.

I have to stop lifting off on the back straight

I had a different start/finish line set up so there is a small difference in the time.

Thanks! I think if I can develop the testicular fortitude to keep the foot planted through the back sweeper I will pick up a second!

Looking at the data, I lift off at turn in (vector g 0.296), 130m later back at 100% throttle (vector g 1.123). The AD08R's are good for about 1.3 vector g so I'm not using all the available grip. The same problem I have with T1 at SMSP.
