The original estimate foir the job was like 3 hrs.
then things escalated dramatically. I could get the old spring out. but couldn't get the new ones in.
ended up taking the head off.
I had a spare head gasket. It ended up taking like 7-8 hrs..... If i didn't have the head gasket I guess I would have put the old springs back in.
new springs a 66 lbs ones. which are what was recommended by the cam manufacturer. No extra power realized at this moment....but it is a fraction smoother down low.
I only managed to get 2 springs in with the head attached to the motor. With the intake ones I just didn't have the right angle or strengths to get them in.
First spring installed with all the sticky engine assembly lube all over it.
