Youre not in over your head.
just head first. in my opinion is also the best way to learn.
I have to admit. I was also overwhelmed when I took the step.Information overload. It took me little to work out different sensors. The idle valve in particular. But you'll be fine

I have a couple left over from the Beta run if you're interested in one of those. Just shoot me a PM.
Otherwise, probably around 2 months after those with the beta units have had a chance to test.

When/if you do a plugin NB8A version I'd be tempted to have a go at fitting/testing one too.
I'm no tuner by any means, but would be a good choice if you want to see how a totally inexperienced guy goes with it.
(My tuning experience consists of single cyl carb fed small engines)

The manual is very much a work in progress, but is mostly complete in terms of what should be needed for the PNP box. Some of the extra features aren't thoroughly documented yet, but if there's any details people need I can look at prioritising them.
(As its a wiki, new contributors are also always welcome!)
That PDF is generated automatically from the wiki, roughly once a week, so should be fairly up to date.

Didn't want to preempt anything, but posted the links as only found when Googling Speeduino & MX5, ie couldn't find links in the Speeduino wiki index, so hoped you wouldn't mind.

Not at all! It was posted a few pages back in the thread, but these things are a pain to read back on so it's probably a good refresh.
Speeduino is very much a community focussed project, so the more people contributing and getting involved the better from my perspective

LC-2 Wideband ordered
Next the VTPS, looking for the easiest plug n play version. VL type seems easiest.
Also need to start thinking about an intake an filter, since the AFM is going.

yes it is It may also have been their first attempts at it. They eventually made one single pipe. Which is much nicer.
I originally had a steel pipe on a previous ECU for the AFM delete which was a perfect fit. Unsure of the actual size of it. I got tired of chasing aluminum, pipes as they are all either too big or too small.
went to bunnings.....$5 later.....
maybe we can ask Nitro Dann to come up with a solution for us that looks stunning & do a group buy.....
