Re: MX5 cars, coffee & Nasho run- SEQ edition
Thanks for a great day out guys. Was good to finally meet some people face to face and put some faces to the forum names. The run up the hill was awesome, and much to her credit, Rachel barely flinched in the passenger seat We ended up hanging around at O'Reilys and spent a couple of hours wandering around the place. Got the usual "go slow" traffic on the way down, but sounds like you guys didn't fair much better either.
Look forward to catching up again sometime.

When my car is back on the road, I'll be joining you on future runs.

There will definitely be another run comming in the next few months (plenty of great runs made for cars like ours!) O'Reillys is pretty spectacular (I think I'll be taking the wife there for a weekender-) and for sure, with hardly a straight line going up, Rachel did well!

Run suggestion.
I've never been through Currumbin Valley to Murwillumbah, but it's on my bucket list. So maybe something like this, Curumbin Valley, Murwillumbah, Kyogle, Grady's creek road, running creek road (if it's reopened after the floods) Lions Road, Rathdowney. If Grady's creek road is still closed then Mt Lindsay highway from Kyogle. It's reasonably long though.
I don't seem to be able to send map to this page.

I think you may be onto something there!
I was going to try and tee up another run mid/late October (time to give everyone a bit more time to plan for). A new post will be up soon with this route as a suggestion for sure

I can run the 7th, 8th, 14th or 15th of October. Leaving the country for a month on the 16th, if any of those days work for everybody else I'll tag along

Some of my old riding roads from my bike days. Good Choice.

Re: MX5 cars, coffee & Nasho run- SEQ edition
Ok all- hows the 15/10/17 sound for the next run? We got a great suggestion for a great route, but all suggestions are welcome. Heaps of time to sort out a kickoff time a bit later (most likely an early start- say around 7am) and a meeting point to be decided- may get a list started. All welcome of course
