I had a little mudcake with a single candle to wish all my "350" horses a happy birthday yesterday-

I have subscribed to your "secret" on not breaking bits BillyB, however as I know nothing about breeding birds (the feather kind that is  ) I unfortunately require the Problem Child as a daily driver due to my weekly non lotto wins that would see me kick back in early retirement...... STM, you have an uncanny ability to "read between the lines!

Mine had been "not breaking" nicely in the 5 months since I last drove it. Works a treat, but a little boring.

At least yours has 350. BBs has 0, cos it never gets dríven. hp is derived from torque, torque is force x distance, and since distance = 0 then hp = 0 also...

After checking out the old PPF and working out how to add some strength to it, engineer Ben and mechanic Daz come up with this.
At 1st they tossed up the idea of a stitch weld bracing, but welds on the PPF may weaken the metal. We did have a look at the track dog racing PPF brace but seeing as Ben has put together similar stuff for numerous track cars I'm confident that this will work well.
We did also toy with the idea of putting more solid bushes on the diff mount, but after some research Daz doesn't want to see the mount arms break, so at this stage we'll go with this and keep an eye on it over the next few months. :DIY:

Is that a new PPF with a brace, or the old PPF repaired and braced?

The diff carrier arms would be fine with poly mounts, even with your power.

What grade bolts did you use?

With respect to 'welds may weaken the metal' this is not a true statement. It would be a case of picking the right weld/welder (coded welder) for the task.
