Roadster Sport 3 owners impressions?

Postby JINBA ITTAI » Sat Jul 29, 2017 11:28 am

I'm thinking of getting the Roadstersport 3 (RS3) muffler and seeking owner's impressions and experiences on sound, fitments and build quality.

Re exhaust sound, I sort of break this into two parts -- volume and note. Re volume I'm after something just a bit louder than stock, especially when just cruising. Re note I want a nice mellow burble (not race car or JDM drifter). One can only watch so many youtube vids, so hoping to get some input from actual owners.

Given the above requirements, it's a toss up between the RS3 and Racing Beat, but I like the idea of adjustable baffles from RS3.

If you are talking about an NA then take a look at Town and Country in Geelong - known quantity and reasonable cost and service.

For a 10AE, but think T&C offerings cover the full range, although last heard ND was under development. Another option from a while back might be a Gary Stewart, Rob Bliss & CES Racing collaboration: https://www.robblissexhaust.com.au/ Geebung QLD & http://www.cesracing.com.au/ Meadowbrook QLD

Also, another local (Oz) option: viewtopic.php?f=75&p=915975

Ask PCMX5 about T&C- fitted to a number of NA and NBs and they do it all- they quote you a price and book it in and it gets done all in a mornings work.
