F1R wheels. Not sure the model. They were fairly light.

I think your weights are a little optimistic. A 15x8.25 is unlikely to be that light unless it's specially forged and a zillion dollars each..

Edit. Just looked at the Funkypower uk website and they list them as 6.75kg (14.8lb) which is a lot more believable.

Thanks. Thought it was off given the website rounded off. Not sure is 14.8lb is good. Hoping so.

Stock wheels are around 6kg.
So given your new wheels are much wider. 6.75kg is pretty good.

Fingers crossed what they quote is in fact true.

Felt light handling them.

Took the MX5 to the Marulan today. The car is sooo much fun but I need more grip. Best time was a 47.23 on a cold track. Tyres are almost bald.

Here is a video from the sidelines

Anything under 50 is pretty good at Marulan. With a bit more practice you'll get much quicker than that too!

Car looks and sounds great, you must be so happy to get out and drive it in anger!

The car should be good for 46 sec with nitto nt01 tyres.

Next will be Wakefield..... Car has done well mechanically for 2 Marulan tracks days now. Gets its pass
