Purchased in November 2010 from memory. It was to be my son's first car, but sh*t happens and I procured a red MX5 for him :)

I recall that you mentioned he sold the red one?

Yes it was sold, he purchased a commodore (still has it). However he complains from time to time that he misses 'his' MX5. Did offer the red 'shell' in the shed for him to rebuild but apparently he does not miss it that much where he has to fund it :)

Son also now has motorcycle, purchased for the reason of "cheap to run" and "to get to from work". I ride on average 4 times the km's he does, yet replaced less parts (tyres, brake pads etc), go figure... My bike is commute only, not even used to go to the 'shops' on weekends.

Working on getting the new page done for displaying the tire data. Cannot wait to get home to tick off some items that I would like to get done before the Morgan Park club day.

Had a fun time at Street Sprints on Saturday, no PB but very close, managed to string together a few consecutive laps at around 60.5 on the sprint.

Played around with the suspension settings and brake bias. Not recommended to run the car on full hard (everything) is not fun to drive :(

Started on fitting different front splitter. The current one was made up of a few pieces and even the mounts have been copping a bit of a basing lately. The existing mounts would have needed some attention anyway so this was a well timed mod.

The foam that I had netween the splitter and the lip has not been the same since my first off at Hungry this year

Very nice! For a minute there I thought you might be going back to stock

Very close to the Miata air dam. This splitter was run for a few seasons by a rather quick MX5, the previous owner has developed a new one that is even better.

No need for a dodgy day just call in, my place is even on the way between Stanthorpe and the GC :)

Back on topic, this is what the filter has collected over a few events, need to really do something about the intake location.

The new front airdam and splitter should be effective.
