Somewhere to slide in North Brisbane
Hi, I'm new. I've just purchased my first MX-5 (a nice clubman) and would love to try the car out in a quite place where I could try some slides/drifts to get a feel for the car. Any suggestions on where to go near Brisbane (Northside)? Somewhere quite if possible. Not fast driving necessarily. Or, could you recommend a training course? With thanks, David

Mount Cotton driver training centre may be an option- its a decent setup they have there.

+1 for Skid Control. Great skidpan to learn how to catch sudden slides. Mt cotton skidpan is water/diesel, Gympie is just water. Heaps of fun, minimal wear and tear. You go through a surprisingly large amount of fuel, lots of time at high rpm maintaining slides.
