I got caught with a suspect one, right colour but no serial number.

The TOMEI has been replaced and a surge tank (with integrated FPR) installed but this has revealed other issues... The joys of modding.

Some intense Dyno runs have resulted in an underbonet Duck decapitation...... noooooooooooooooooooooooo
The new Tomei FPR in and some more fine tuning, the Problem Child is almost about to breathe 350rwhp fire again............. a welding re-capitation to be done and more updates to follow. :!:

Glad Daffy will be on the mend, would love to have that many horse powers.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

The new Tomei FPR is in, just needs a solid remounting (cable ties holding it on is just wrong :? !) The rising fuel rate is finally right with the new Tomei, just a matter of working out what went wrong with the AEM regulator and why it suddenly decided to drop rates under big boost- doesn't look broken ......weird :?: .

The external MAP is in and running accurate signals as required.

The weather today on the Coast was Absolutely crap, slippery, wet squally rained out roads- a little too risky to have a few solid test runs with the previous set tune now re loaded on roads full of Sunday drivers......

a quick right foot squirt seen a massive break of traction though without even trying
I cant wait to have a run with the Problem Child now back to her best- tomorrow, an open highway on dry roads with heat in the Advans. Stay tuned........

Finally today, a dry sunny day, minimum traffic and well away from other road users, on a nice open well laid stretch of road, re tuned with good heat in the tyres and a tank full of E85.

After having puttered through a couple of months of "get me by de-boost valet tune" a solid run with the problem child was had today and................ shes back baby, woohoo!!!!

Did an acceleration and braking test, ascending onramp into a 110km zone. From the roundabout exit @ 40 to 170 then braking back down to 110

Daffy, didn't you say you were going to be down in sin city again soon?

Since speed is abandoning us down here.....time for a get together.
