Hi
Unless you want to be able to adjust the ride height IMO stick with the Bilsteins . I had coilovers on my NB and my brother had the std SE suspension, his was the better balanced

Re: SE owners coilovers
Depends on what you intend to do with the car.
I use mine mainly for track and the SE Bilsteins just were not stiff enough once I started using R-Spec tyres. They are also too high in the rear which cause un-wanted oversteer at the track.
I did much prefer them on the road to my Coilovers though. Much more compliance and useable ride height.

Thanks Luke, my SP is just a fun car for spirited runs. I noticed the back end sits up rather high. Glad to have someone's opinion that has run both.

Hi
I lowered the rear using Kings Springs, very happy. Rear ride height is now 318 mm
Cheers

Re: SE owners coilovers
Once upon a time when BARMY was only a road car it was more comfortable and handled better on the Tein coilovers than the standard suspension on my previous NB8B, NB8A and NA6.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)
