Tinting is of course out of control- you are supposed to be able to identify a driver or even see their eyes but today that's a lost battle due to many being too dark.
Talk about inevitable alright - 19000km and eight months of ownership and I'm losing count of the stone chips in my front bumper. Couple of small nicks on the hood and a few tiny tiny bits of glass missing but not cracks thankfully.

I don't see too many non-legal tints in Qld but when I do they stand out like the proverbial! That's asking for a fine from the constabulary.
