Postby roshmx5 » Fri Mar 31, 2017 9:45 pm

I have a NB SP about to do a coolant flush and replace. Previous owners records show coolant was replaced with Penrite 5year
What is the recommendation for MX5.
I want to do this right, what Brand can I use. Is Nulon FL22 spec ok. My manual does not state and have googled but can't find an answers.

Penrite and nulon will say on their website what they recommend for your car. It's no different to a normal NB, I used the premium nulon green coolant (can't remember the actual name of it off the top of my head).
Make sure to pick up some demineralised water at the same time :)

Grren Nulon is "Long Life Concentrate" 4 years or 250,000km. Comes in one and 5 litre bottles that you mix 1:2 with destilled water.

cheapest source of distilled water i've found is "Ironing Water" at Wooworths supermarket. In the laundry area. Worked out at about 80c/L
