Anyone considered legality on these singular options? Up here it states if you modify it must retain original stiffness etc. Do the vents provide any support?

The stiffness is retained by not cutting completly through the frame. There is still a C section remaining. At least that's what I've seen on the cars that have them. Legality may still be an issue.
