Gawd getting the accelerator pedal box out is a major pain the backside
Been trying to follow Rolley guide on how to remove it but I'm not having luck it still stuck behind some steering bracket that's just bot moving out of the way.

In the end I took the dash out.

Took 10 secs to remove it.

But 2 hrs to remove the dash and I have to put it back in now.

She's been back in action for a few weeks now.

furiously working away at Mega-squirting.

Someone on the big forum helped me get my fuel consumption under control.

At the beginning I was getting like 250 k's out of a 35 liter fill up. last fill up of about 35 liters was just under 300. But a lot of siting there fidling with the EGO control & VE table the engine just sitting there getting reved .....the dríven like she's been stolen

I guess its back to tuning the VE table with the new AFR settings.

here is what i got

Good news! I'm hoping we get good weather this weekend so I can go for a drive. Have no idea re my fuel consumption yet as I've not used enough but it's definitely heaps better than what I had :)

Patchy has been sitting idle for the last week.
Mind has been wondering

BP4W
11.5:1 compression pistons
Big massive ƒü¢k off cams
Basic Port & polish
Refreshed head
Rehone cylinders
Rotating assembly balanced

Should all be reasonably cheap

Then Stan wakes up......

I wanted that setup years ago before I went turbo.
Still love the idea of it but boost is very very addictive.
You'll have to drive mine sometime. It's basic but fun :)

Added lightness to Patchy.
NB starter motor went in today. That's almost as much of a pain in the backside as the Accelerater box.
Like 5 bolts to undo and like 2 less to tighten up....
2 hrs....
In the pouring rain.

That's what you call desperation.
Off to Eastern creek to visit some friends racing.

Speed keep me posted for a meet

How are you going with the economy now? I'm in the 8.5L/100kms range still on the stock engine, before going to the MS I was in the 7's. Last couple of tanks were from my roadtrip, all highway and still only managed 8.4's (34L / 415km) , last time I did the hume I was low 7's, high 6's. I'm starting to think something is up, I'm putting in less fuel according to my AFR target tables/AFR readings, but not acctually getting any better economy :?

Looks positive. Only got though about half the tank so far.
Maybe 350? Will probably know by end of this coming week.
