NC Momentary loss of signal.

When I undo the hood clip while the radio on, the signal drops out but only for less than a second. Any idea what causes that?

There's a switch in the centre latch socket that changes the system from top up to top down balance.
You can operate it with your fingers by pushing the flap inside that centre socket
