I've been meaning to do a write up about my car for a long time but I decided tonight that I would finally do it.
My car started out as a 1989 Eunos Roadster that I bought in October 2014.
She was originally red but was resprayed before my ownership to what I believe is Mitsubishi Atoll Green.
In the first year of ownership I installed a mania Intake with custom 3" tubing, 4-2-1 hurricane headers into some random exhaust which wasn't the best sounding
April last year though, things got serious.
I went out and bought a 2002 NB8B with 88,000kms in the hope I would swap everything that fit into my unhealthy, oil thirsty 1.6.
I started stripping both cars down to the shells.
Dad and I then pulled the motors out of both cars.
That messy red and black engine bay though...
Next up was a little bit of rust repair. The worst being in the boot which I still need to repair as it is under the seam on the inside
I then started pulling the interior and wiring out of the green car in preparation for the NB wiring and NB interior.
After stripping the interior completely I set to work on the engine bay. I was tossing up between painting this a different colour to the car but decided the tidiest and most "oem" looking would be to match it.
Subframe out so we can get to everything with the paint gun.
Car is all masked up and ready for paint!

Time for the wiring to go in. This was the most painful job on this car. If I could go back I would have spent more time and rewired the whole car with new cables and a wire tuck. Maybe in the future...

Subframe is in and now it's time for the engine. VVT Goodness here I come!!
I also installed the NB8B ABS system which works a treat and looks like it should be there!
Long nights....
42mm Aluminium Radiator installed.
All of the pieces of the puzzle going back together and she looks like a car again for the first time in 2 months.
Next up I purchased a Megasquirt PRO 3 PNP. I chose this ECU because later this year I plan on turbocharging my car with the option of flex fuel.
This is also the preference of the tuner.
NB dash, airbag is gone, what better place to put your ecu and keep it off the floor and away from any possible water!

My new Nardi deepcorn replacing my SAAS wooden wheel that I hated for the years I had it. And some RevLimiter Gauges to set it off.

Finally out of the shed and looking like a car. There was a few things I needed to get fabricated etc before I drove it on the road so on a tow truck and off to NitroDann's it went.
All tuned, fiddled with the intake and made it fit my car, exhaust is on and the tip to suit. All ready for a drive..

And she's back on the road. I have daily dríven this car since I bought it and since the swap. Every so often there is an issue that I jump on and fix. Every so often you scroll through car sales and see something you like and contemplate selling it. But once you jump in and drive this car it puts the biggest grin on your face (especially the pops and crackles and occasional flame from the exhaust
). 
Since doing the NB8B swap I've kept busy with little bits and bobs here and there.
Over two days I polished the ugly pitted VVT rocker cover. Lots of sanding, polish and sweat helps make rocker covers look awesome!

I also fitted some MCA XR coilovers and some 205/50/15 Yokohama Advance AD08R tyres to my "NA8B" and competed in my first track day with the MX5 car club and scored a 1:08:85 at SMSP South circuit
