My supporting mods are:
DIYPNP MS2.
Rx8 injectors.
Toyota cops.
Bkr7e plugs gapped to .85mm
2 inch piping to IC.
2.5inch IC.
2.5 inch piping from IC to TB.
BEGI exhaust manifold.
T28 from a S14.
Divorced dump pipe, 2.5inch piping.
100 cell 2.5inch cat.
2.5 inch exhaust but does have a couple of press bends.

Maybe my exhaust is the bottleneck.

Boost controller.

I've been googling and think that I may have the wrong firmware.

My DIYPNP was built by gslender, so I'm sure it's built properly.

In the boost settings it has the choices for the boost output.
IAC1
IAC2
JS11
Fidle

Apparently these codes are obsolete or maybe I've mistakenly loaded code for a regular MS2.

I did load 3.3.3 but wasn't aware that I needed a different firmware for a DIYPNP compared to a regular MS2.

Can anyone confirm this?

If I've got it wrong, I'd be grateful if someone could direct me to a link of the correct firmware for my DIYPNP.

Apparently I should be seeing the proper pin names.

Strange thing is that everything else has worked fine.

Caveat: I only have experience with my MS3, but....

I'm pretty sure an DIYPNP/MSPNP are internally MS2's, which means there is indeed a new firmware available:

Make sure you have the latest TS installed before you do the upgrade. Save your tune before you upgrade. Make note of settings/calibrations. Upgrading the firmware shouldn't change much .... but also, all bets are off.

The release notes for the 4.3.x series of MS2/Extra firmware mentions changes to the boost control, which may be the solution to your problem.

As far as I'm aware, all of G's modifications to the MS code went into the official codebase, so the downloads off the websites now have all of his goodies "baked in" (A/C Idleup and stuff)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Latest firmware resolved the boost control issues, then it popped the IC hose off the turbo.

Clamp was retightened again today but it popped off again.
Problem was the hose clamp was slightly too big.

New clamp and it burst a hole threw the hose. Was making 130kw with the leak.

New silicon hose tomorrow and we'll see what happens

I now have my car back!

Was expecting more in the numbers based on what others have achieved on a similar set up but she drives and behaves very well and is nice and quiet.

Also similar is not the same!
My exhaust probably held me back a little power wise but worth the trade off for how quiet it is.

I'm looking forward to some dryer weather before I put the boot in but did give her two stabs on the way home. Oops!

I'm amazed in the difference and no longer care about the numbers

Mine made 147 with a bigger engine but smaller turbo. Numbers dont mean much, especially between dyno brands. The real question is how does it drive??

To be honest I never asked.
Guess I was distracted with excitement and listening to Colin explain everything that he did.
I had asked for a maximum of 12psi safely on the stock engine.

Great results, pretty much near what I'm aiming for on a similar setup !

Thank you. After checking the weather for the next few days and then looking up at the sky, I decided that I should take her for a spin.

OH MY GOD, it is AMAZING!

Drives beautifully down low and hit the loud pedal and it just comes to life with a surge of power.

I don't run a boost guage (and I don't want to) but you can feel it boosting at 3k and at 4k it can throw you back and I found myself gripping the wheel tightly.

Had a few Wallies come close to my rear bumper and I'd just hit the accelerator and leave them in my wake. They never tried any thing at the next set of lights.

I should also add that it absolutely kills the supercharger setup that I had previously. Real power faster. I would have never believed the difference.

I'm very happy

Looks good Steve. That's more than double than standard with just bolt ons.
Colin knows his stuff. He squeezed all that was possible from Snowie.

Now see if you can bolt the supercharger back on as well
