That's how I've felt. Fingers crossed there is no issues. I don't like the idea of her spending nights away. I can't even go into the garage and look at at her.

Will post up once I've had a drive :)

Received a call from the tuner. My boost controller is switching itself off immediately after turning it on.

I knew I should have checked it worked once I wired it in.
I've advised which pin in the ecu triggers it and he's going to check and go from there.

I'm still hoping I can pick up today but aware we are running out of time.

Pics to keep me going.

Are the pins seated in the options port plug properly? I had a problem with my boost solenoid not going when it got to the tuner because the pins weren't quite in tight enough. I ended up having to pull them through from the front of the plug to seat them.

Worth a shot but no it wasn't that.

Car won't be ready until Monday.
I have 2 wires connected to my options port (DB15), boost out and O2.

The o2 had broken off and was touching the boost out.

I have a dicky jaycar plug that you wire to but I really wanted to get a proper plug with wires on it that I could just tap into but jaycar don't sell them and I don't know where to get one.

The other issue is knowing which output to use in the software. Fiddle or something else.

The tuner currently has the ecu in pieces and needs to trace the high output.

The car has been tuned with exception to higher boost settings.

So far it made 90kw on 4psi.
Seems my dreams of 160 are way to optimistic.

When I asked what it would be at 12 psi, I was told depending apon the health of the motor, 130 to 150.

I'm not even sure that can leave work early on Monday to make the tuners by 5pm

Will be sure to figure something out and fingers crossed the other issues are sorted in the meantime.

Glad you found the problem. What turbo do you have? I've got a TD04 on mine, I asked the tuner for 150kw if he could get it safely. Got it back making 150kw at 10psi, he said he didn't need to do much to it to make that. I have my boost controller on a switch so i can run 6psi gate pressure which gives me about 125kw.

Thanks Rohan. I'm not sure what the issue is. Tuner said when in software that the 'fiddle' or the other output didn't activate the EBC and that's why he's checking how the ECU is wired.
At least that's how I understood what he said.

It's a t28. That's why I thought that I'd see 155/160.
Is yours a 1.6 or 1.8?

1.6 with standard internals. I do have mild cams in it from my pre turbo days but not sure if they make much difference or not.

Ok cool. Guess I'll just wait and see. Maybe it will surprise him.
