Cleaning a coolant overflow tank with coffee

Postby pepejesus » Tue Feb 07, 2017 6:47 pm

Yes, coffee. Just regular, ground coffee beans (not instant coffee as you want something that doesn't dissolve).

My plastic overflow tank was starting to look a little grotty on the inside and I stumbled across this post with some cleaning advice: http://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/515256-how-to-clean-dirty-coolant-tank.html

Gave it a try myself - it works really well!
