I agree, as well. The red interior just looked too much. It would have looked stunning with the light tan interior, like they have in the soft top.

The soul red is stunning, but I took a drive to Aspley tonight and checked out the Gun Metal Grey RF with the red nappa leather and the piano roof....whoa, what a stunner.

Definitely made the right choice.

I like the white with the nappa. I'd upload pictures of it but I've never figured out how to do so.

Road tests already in Herald Sun and interesting that they remarked that part top down over 100 is noisy. I guess it will be interesting to see how the car feels insofar as open top is concerned compared to its predecessors including the ND roadster. Certainly looks very good. The price keeps going up for the extra's - no surprise.

Pat and Linda, Lizzie and I picked up our beautiful Machine Gun Grey RF's this morning from Grand Prix at Caboolture.

So impressed by the great service.

The car is certainly worth the wait....thought the ND was great, but the RF's another rung up the ladder.

So nice to have my MZD connect again, Sat Nav, Internet radio, Bluetooth, lane departure warning, adaptive lighting....list goes on!

Took her for a spin to my daughters in Aspley, they were impressed as well.

This one might have to last a few years......

Looks horrible with the roof insert removed. Roof on is all good. But off, yuk. Look like a bad 90s angle grinder job done on a sedan.

Congrats Frank!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

There are a few of us over on the 2017 goals thread talking about 'adding lightness' to ourselves too. Would you be interested in joining if we made a thread in General?

Its a bit hard to drop height though, my 6'4 tallness isn't friendly in the RF

Yeah, most height reduction techniques are best left in Medieval times ;)

I ordered a red 2.0 GT manual softop in December. Will be built in Feb and delivered late March.
It follows fifty years of small manual cars, starting with a mini 850 panel van on which I learned all sorts of mechanical and panel skills. It ended up very competitive with a full race 1100 unit. Then a concourse winning 2A Sprite which I still pine for. The most recent toys were a 99 MX5 and a 2005 NC (great car, gently modded).
The NC will be a ten year plan.
Galaxy Grey NC.

Hi guys.

New to the forum. Have just bought a Machine Grey RF Black Roof Manual for delivery mid-Feb to replace my 2014 BRZ. It will have EIbach Pro Kit springs fitted before delivery as well as window tint, reverse camera and sensors. This is it...

Image

It will be a garage partner to my wife's Abarth...

Look forward to plenty of good advice from the forum.
