Lots of little things over the last week. Fixed my window reg assembly. Fixed the interior light that had come loose months ago with the assistance of 5yo hands, Fixed my tacho, Configured launch control / flat shifting.

It gives me the warm and fuzzys!

BlackLeaf those look like new, any special technique used?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Is definitely well worth the investment.
My hoist has been up and down more than 15 times in the last few days.

When you frequently see the underside of your car, you do want to do something about it.
The liners are the start, then there is the control arms, suspension and the paint on the body.
I do have plans for mine but is not a priority just yet.

I just used dish washing detergent and hot water, with a light scouring pad for the first go, and then a cloth, before towel drying, and then finishing with a little armorall. It did take a while because its only when they are dry again that you see all the stubborn areas that have been missed. Took a good hour all up.

Having completed the stripping the interior of my poor, blue NA and transposing it to my replacement red NA, I have spent the last few weeks trying to take the engine apart and also bits from underneath the car as well.

Pretty sure this is all pretty "meh" to most of you, but until 12-months ago all I had ever done to the car was put fuel and air in it, and it was enough for me to make sure that I didn't mix those two things up.

Have really enjoyed it but it has been tough going with only a socket set and some combination spanners.

This weekend I pulled out all the exhaust, diff and suspenshony stuff at the rear of the car...
Image
Also reached a limit on what I could do with the engine because of limited tool set. Thought I might have been able to get the starter motor out but conceded defeat...
Image
Getting close to the end now. Have to get rid of the car. Was supposed to have been gone before Xmas and my wife is doing her best to remain patient. Can't ask any more of her.
