Forumites identification at FANFEST
There will be heaps of people from on here at Sandown next Saturday and I would love to put some faces to people and Identify their cars. Can I suggest that we put a small sticker with our Forum name on the top drivers side windscreen and (if you feel so inclined)another (Forum name)on your shirt in addition to any other badge you may be wearing.
If anyone has a better proposal please bring it forward, just think that it is a great opportunity to catch up that we shouldn't let pass.
Peter.
ps. posted here rather than events as i thought it may get more coverage.

There will be too many cars to see a tiny sticker.
Maybe we should just all meet up at a particular spot at lunchtime/whenever? Or gravitate to a particular car at the Show'n'Shine? Mine's pretty distinctive so you can spot it?
I could hand out my number and I can give my location on the day and people can wander over?
Ideas?

Happy to do whatever Bruce, the idea of getting everybody in the one place may work and if that is the case we could just nominate a space in the grandstand or near the pits where there may be more room. I was also hoping that people would be wandering through the groups during the day and could identify the cars and the people as they went,or even just the cars if the owner isn't there. It won't matter how small the tag is if you are looking for it on the driver side windscreen. So perhaps we could do both?

I'm a nerd and a stalker so should be able to spot most of you lot by car. Bruce's is easy to spot, it sounds like a nissan and looks like a 70's fighter jet
I might write my name etc on my windscreen in that dealership texta stuff. Peter's idea is a good one, we can post on here once we're all there and can spot a suitable place to meet up if we haven't already.

Sprinters can post their number, that will make those cars easy to identify.

I'm flying down from Brissie to check it out as my oldest starts Prep on Monday after and I'm not missing that.
It would of been nice to road trip mine down to be part of the crowd though.
I look forward to meeting up and putting faces to cars.

Perhaps a short length of ribbon in a similar colour to your car attached to the aerial.
Greg.

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

I'm big and ugly, not hard to miss. Come say hi or rain hate on me for deleting someone's post once.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Big and ugly... that narrows it down to how many thousand. Maybe a name tag with Okibi would work and maybe a secret handshake.
