Looking online for an exhaust or just muffler to deepen the sound of the stock 2000 NB.
Obviously also looking for something not too loud to draw in the cops attention.
I've been looking at the Cobalt Muffler.
Any thoughts / opinions / suggestions?
Cheers.

Don't over think it.
You can buy a free flowing Stainless muffler on Ebay for $100 and get your local guy to fit it. I am about to do it on my SE
Cheers

Any good muffler shop should be able to remove your old muffler and loosely trial fit a few for you to choose from. It will sound quieter on the move from inside than stationary and listening from behind. I wouldnt go too loud if you do long trips. Efficiency with just a muffler change wasnt noticeable on my 2000 NB8A.
Never put the top up unless the storm has a name.
