Soft Top Latch Spring

Postby Ross » Wed Jan 11, 2017 9:54 am

One of the little springs on my Soft Top latch has broken.
Does anyone know of a source for a suitable replacement?
Cheers

I seem to recall someone on here saying they found them at Bunnings? Possibly was Rolley?

I've used Bunnings ones before, take the non broken one in with you so you can find a match.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Bunnings would not have been my guess but if available fine. Many engineering supplies- bolts, nuts taps dies etc etc carry various springs. Bursons and some of the others also have small packs of fasteners and special items. Some places also will make springs as one off and not expensive. Totally boring to most people but a spring has a specific description- the spring type, gauge number of coils etc. Agree sample or measurement is the usual.

I got them at Bunnings, slightly longer than original, but still work.
Thanks.
