Saw this on the Facebook group - appreciate getting frustrated when you're jammed in behind a truck and you get an unending line of traffic passing in the right hand lane with no gap, but it was a poorly executed merge, and in the BIGGEST DICK MOVE MX-5 handed out a little brake check after getting high beamed by the ute. They deserve each other.

Next time you're stuck in a long queue on the Bruce, remember this moment...

Having a dash cam would not help the guy in the white car. Run into the back of any car and you are f*ck'd

Two drivers playing chicken and it did not end well.

Both idiots, but suck it to the NC owner being a twat. I'm sure the bull bar on the ute didn't sustain much if any damage.

True, but his insurance if he has any, would have to pay for the NC, and that aint cheap. Dicks.

This is one of those "play stupid games win stupid prizes" moments where the 4wd thought hed be clever but didnt consider whod be paying for it.

MX5 was drving in a poor manner but its fairly clear that the 4wd made a conscious decision to play a stupid game to dole out some sort of vigilante justice, and because he rear ended the mazda, well he gets his stupid prize doesnt he.

I agree both drivers were driving like dicks but to me when driving you should be driving to avoid accidents, compensate for the stupid driver.
From the video it is obvious before the MX5 indicated that he would want to go around a slow moving truck and it would have only take the Cam driver 3 seconds longer to allow room for the MX5 to easily slip into the overtaking lane.
Having just spent a week driving in Germany it becomes obvious how easily it can work when drivers are properly trained to drive.

The comments on the Dash Cam Owners Australia FB page prove this.
'I would have pushed him into a tree'
'I would have climbed over him'

Someone makes a mistake and 10,000 bogans seem to think that it's their job to teach the guy a lesson by turning a near miss into accident.

Entitled bogan pricks.

Yep, there is missing dash footage of the chase down by the dash cam owner.

How it all began, the QLD merge rules for that part states that you have to give way to the car in front (no dotted lines) and you cannot see if the MX5 was in front of the green car. The green car may not have even seen the MX5 hence why it swerved...

The dash cam owner then sounds like at the end he was commenting on his own driving skills. Not to mention footage of him causing an accident.
