Couple of videos from the MX5 Challenge on the weekend.

New clubman Pb on the twin grooves, still time in it but hot air and hot track, and only 15min to qualify with traffic, so I'm happy with a half second improvement.

Had a moment during race 4, Tony spun in front of me and through sheer luck, we both got away without damage.

And the last one is race 5. Turns out I had the wrong pressures in my head, and had been gradually lowering the tyres over the course of the weekend. It took a few laps for the tyres to begin to improve each race, so the first few laps are pretty much on my own. From 4 minutes to 9 minutes though, I had stacks of fun fighting with Shane, David and Francois.

I know it is basically the same as any other lap I have posted of Lakeside, but this one is just a little faster so I thought I would put it up.

It is from the third race of Prodsports on 02/04/17.

Lap time was 57.89

Video trying to keep up with Dylan from Skid Control at the last lakeside street sprints. Stocked with how the car went that day, we both did consistent 62's that round, and set a new PB on the last lap with a 62.21. Big thanks to Mike for letting me run with the 86 Club! Can't wait for the PSCRAQ mx5 and 86 race in a few weeks.

Races 2 and 3 from the MX5/86 Challenge at Lakeside, June 3/4 2017.

Race 2 is worth watching from start to finish I think. Race 3 is decent until 7:30, then I'm circulating alone. You can see an NC spin out exiting eastern loop in rear cam at 8:30 or so though.

yeah... Not sure I want to try that again... The green car was apparently in 5th, but if it had been down a gear, he would have definitely beat me to the finish line.
