Re: Zabinskii's High Comp VVT Na6
one very late update,
car is running and tuned
on both e85 and 98
e85 gets me 190whp
98 gets me 168whp
so, heres whats been done in the past,
coolant reroute was welded up, later modified to have a fill point as its the highest spot in the cooling system.
also came across some racing beat headers, picked them up for 200$ in almost new condition, so cant be bothered with the DIY headers anymore, or atleast for now.
bought a jdm cluster from a forum member Big thanks,
makes cluster faces alot less limited when i will decide to buy some later on.
picked up some 550cc ev14s, just so i can run e85 and not worry about any fueling issues and the spray pattern on these is much better,
Flex sesnor was wired up behind the seats on the return line
interior shot!
also had a very annoying failure. the valve stem seals which were replaced when the head was stripped and whatnot, decided to give way after 4000 odd km, supertech valve stem seals are not on my reccomended list of parts, so head had to come off and had to install precision engineering valve stem seals and buy another head gasket.

Nice to meet you at Plus on Saturday. There were at least 4 ITB equiped cars there from memory.

Love it. 190hp is a nice number.
Is it me, or does it look like the coolant re-route pipe is welded to the valve cover at the bolt holes.

wow that's a big jump in power from the e85 for a N/A engine. I saw a 7% increase from 98 to e85. Was the 98 fully tuned?
nice build by the way.... looks great!

yeah it was fully tuned, for some reason the whole setup didnt like any timing, thinking compression is a tad too high, its sitting at about 12:1 IIRC
but e85 we could add alot more timing to and it didnt mind it at all,
still ave to take it back to the tuner as there are a few small spots he can iron out for me to make it a lil more street friendly.
