Great to hear it's still progressing.

Re: NA6 and custom ECU plans
I hit a snag with part of the design on the PNP board which has taken a while to overcome. I was trying to be a bit too clever with part of the design that was aimed at bringing the cost down. Good news is that the issue is solved and I'm at the point of having a working design now. Next step is to get the case and endplate sorted out and then do a small production run.
Realistically, I'm hoping to have something ready to go on sale around Feb.

Re: NA6 and custom ECU plans
Ok, so slow progress (I'm not even going to guess at a sale date now), but things are getting there. The issues I ran into above have been resolved and my car is up and running now on one of these units. I've mocked up the casing etc that will be used in the final version and have a fairly complete assembly/build process lined up. Still a bit of testing to do, but it's definitely getting there.
Completed, fully functional board.
Mockup of the enclosure and faceplate. This is an early 3d printed faceplate just for testing, but the final version will be a laser cut alloy piece.

Re: NA6 and custom ECU plans
OK quick update. I'll be doing a run shortly of between 5-10 fully assembled boxes for testing if anyone is interested. Final pricing etc will be available in about 2 weeks, but expect somewhere around $175USD + postage.
Reliability of these has been fine for myself, but I stress that this is a testing run, so there could be little things that don't work etc.

Nice work.
Sounds to me like this is the perfect sort of ECU for your basic NA6/8
although you are also running ITB's

It's all back to stock at the moment as I had to get everything tested for the PNP setup. All the wiring and things I did originally I had to undo to get back to stock for testing
I see this as being the perfect sort of setup for anyone doing a basic turbo install or just wanting to get rid of the AFM etc. No it won't have every single feature under the sun, but if it does fuel/ignition, boost, flex etc then I think it covers what a lot of people are looking for.

Re: NA6 and custom ECU plans
Obviously 1993-1995 NA8 loom plug will plug into your ECU, but is your ECU compatible with/ been tested on an 1993-1995 NA8 or is it just for the NA6 at this point in time?

Yes definitely! The generic boards work with the NA8 and there's at least 2 running that I'm aware of (1 turbo). I may do a PNP version for those in the future as well, but currently focussing on this 48-pin NA6 version.

Many tks Noisymime - just to clarify in case I'm misreading your reply above, your ECU isn't currently PnP for 1993-1995 NA8?

The PNP one is for any of the cars with the 48-pin ECU. To the best of my knowledge, this is NA6 models from '89 to '94 and I *think* some NA8s during this period as well. Really you need to check what's on your car though to confirm.
The 48 pin ECU is the one with 2 connectors:
If the car has this 2 connector ECU, then it will work with these PNP units
