Re: Most recent/favourite pictures of your car
Spotted Nick looking right at home amongst a bunch of nice cars heading up Nebo as I was coming down this morning.
Good of an excuse as any to post this one from last month taken on the Samford side of Nebo.

Re: Most recent/favourite pictures of your car
Unfortunately there was no 'vision' in the external of the build... The vision for the engine turned out better than expected.
However, I have a concept for the external/internal of the car and will work on this now that the engine is finished, check back at the end of 2017 to see how it went
Hint expect to see more Kawasaki candy apple green...

Re: Most recent/favourite pictures of your car
Maybe going for this sort of scheme, but using candy colours. Personal reasons for this scheme as it merging the days of my youth with my twilight years...
An adept description of the KR
"...A period road test suggested: “It’s happiest between 8000 and 10,500rpm. When the engine hits eight grand at full throttle in first gear, the front wheel claws for the sky while the KR leaps forward…”
And this is where the trouble really begins. It was a ratbag bike designed by ratbags for ratbags. So it rarely saw much below redline on the tacho and didn’t take at all kindly to long-term, flat-out riding. It’s a great machine to own if you’re an enthusiastic two-stroke mechanic and a right bugger if you just want to ride it. (Note: If you want to see the world’s most fluoro website, visit the UK owner group at www.kr250.org.)"
Or this sort scheme

Re: Most recent/favourite pictures of your car
noooo, leave it stock please, those old strokers were rare in the day, and most of them got raced, trashed, repainted or all three. And if you don't want it, I can make room in my garage for it....
Anyway, on topic, here's our latest outing, Bald Hill and then through the Nasho chasing a guy on a pretty well-ridden 600!!
Ironically, next to us was a Can-Am Spyder RT model, which we were also considering as a recreational vehicle before we decided on the Mazda (glad we did)!
And here's my humble little 'stable' on the front lawn....

Actually I'm on the hunt for a KR250 to rebuild as well as another 750 triple...atlast wrote:noooo, leave it stock please, those old strokers were rare in the day, and most of them got raced, trashed, repainted or all three. And if you don't want it, I can make room in my garage for it....
Here is the shed (without the MX5 or Amarok), has since been reorganised this was a photo post a dodgy day. That is a ZX6R F3 in the background, hence my liking for Kawasaki 'spew' green.
