Picked up a 1.8 rear end
Nothing to get excited about (open diff) but it is from an nb8b so its stronger than my na6 setup
Also turns out one of the rear caliper brackets I bought was stuffed, oh well, least the front are in good condition will put them on at some stage... should i be worried about brake bias just upgrading the fronts?
Also have been doing a lot of reading about painting and turboing the car.
Plans are the paint it to some standard over the summer break then get it running on a megasquirt completely stock then add bits from there.
*also* Car idles high as sh*t (1000rpm cold then 1300 when warm) havent had a good look but there is no obvious vacuum leaks, hose clamp near the pod is a bit stripped but that's about it.
Tried the base idle reset but the screw is already all of the way in so it made no difference.
Thinking IAC or ISCV correct me if i'm wrong but these are two separate units... not sure how to diagnose from here
