NC removable hard top

Postby Craggy » Fri Oct 21, 2016 3:51 pm

G'day,

I have been tracking down a hard top for my NC, Bradstreet parts in Newcastle can supply the whole kit but with a 3 month wait to ship from japan.. Does anyone know where I may be able to source one in Australia? New or secondhand. Cheers

they are pretty rare, i found my hardtop by message a guy through car sales that was selling his NC.

Could be an option.

expect to pay $1500+ for it

These were deleted very early in the peace and essentially made redundant by the folding hard top. Some owners sold them as a way of getting more money for their NC1 which still leaves the soft top in place. Buying one second hand would almost certainly mean a repaint to match the car it was to be attached to: a friend of mine sold his separately. My guess is that the genuine top is not going to be a cheap purchase. Mazda should be able to confirm if the original top is available and price and it would be worthwhile checking the source mentioned as to whether this is a genuine original supplied removable hard top. You would expect that an import is going to have a high freight charge unless its sea which is probably what Mazda would do if it was still serviced. Landed price is therefore is required and that should include duty.

Wanted to buy on the forum costs nothing.
