ND with Enkei TS10 & Michelin PS4

Postby oppolock » Sat Oct 15, 2016 10:09 am

My ND now has a set of Enkei TS10 in 17x8 +40 offset and the new to Australia, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in 215/45. Just finished running in the tyres and my first impressions are they stick like glue and yet have less roar than the oem Bridgestone.

Wow they look fantastic!
Lowering springs or coils?

Nice job picking a wheel to compliment the cars styling.

Thanks for complement. I have Eibach Pro Springs installed. Really happy with them - see my comments on the forum.

How did you get the Pilot Sport 4's ? Great look by the way.

Just found it on their web site. You must have been one of the first to order them.

I read a review on Autoexpress a couple of months back where the PS4 came out on top. I called Michelin locally and they told me they would be released in October or November. I had a bit of difficulty ordering them but managed to get the first shipment before they were listed on their site after speaking to the their National Sales Manager.

Thx.
I rang them last week asking about supply and all they would say is 'there has been talk about it'.
A little disappointed as I just bought two PS3's on Saturday 15/10 in the AM.
Still happy but would have liked a bit more transparency.

Looking Schmick, did you get the tyres below rrp? What's next 'OFT'? Sounds like these new tyres will need a tryout around Winton on the 26th of November as well. :D

I have to say their customer service department were useless, when I phoned them because my tyre dealer was getting the run around on my order. They said I couldn't have placed an order, which I had, and couldn't check warehouse stock as it wasn't on their computer system.

The smallest they make in the PS4's is 205/50/16 so will rub on NB's anyway

EDIT: What size PS3s did you get? I've been following your tyre thread, have been going through similar dilemmas at the moment.

I ended up with 195/50-15's PS-3's on 15x6 factory mags. Very happy with them. Quiet, comfortable & predictable.

Your correct, I immediately did some research and the PS-4 isn't available in that size.
