You could try leaving them in the hot sun for an afternoon, then hitting them with a leather conditioner to mitigate some of the sun damage.

On my MX-5 I replaced the driver side seat cover with an identical Mazda OEM seat cover . It fitted perfectly : tight and no creases. I dont think sitting in the sun for the red seats is likely to do anything and I would not go anywhere near it with a heat gun. If it looks good in the car then it gets a tick.
