Just over 5 cm of tyre wall...

205/45R17 according to the brochure:

They certainly don't look like 25 profile tyres.

I agree,

The typo is on the very last page, bottom of the left hand column. Under tyres :)

A 205X25X17 tyre boggles the mind. There are stones in my 'pebble-pave' driveway bigger than that!
Imagine that on Queensland roads.

Can't wait to find a wrecked Abarth in the near future. Those front Brembos will look really nice on my ND. 8)

Nope but I wish Alfa Romeo had gone ahead with this version.

Pininfarina have always IMO got the barchetta concept just right.

Yeah! I could get really enthusiastic about something that looks like that!
I like the FIAT better than the ND but it is still unlikely to get me to part with another $40K when I have a perfectly good NB in the garage, but that....

Ripper looking concept car but then they usually are. Price point for an Alfa version that looks like that would have matched its looks.

Still keen to see the Abarth up close and personal

So when the insurance guy determines that the Abarth's wheel nuts were loosened "just enough", I know who I'll be pointing the finger at.

So we had launch edition build number #1 of 100 in work the other day, very reminiscent of the ND, interiors very similar, gearbox is so notchy and it feels amazing to sit in!
Unfortunately no photo of the build stamp

I think all 100 say 1 of 100 as opposed to #1 of 100, #2 etc

Those red side-view mirrors on a white car look wrong, they should be white or black, otherwise it just looks like one mirror was damaged so both were replaced with the wrong colour.

I still think the Mazda looks more Italian than the Fiat version - the Fiat version's front looks like something an American GM or Chrysler engineer designed.

I agree with Lokiel- same observations. The headlamp bezels really look pretty awful. I have not been paying attention but memory tells me that the ND has led headlights and this badge engineered car looks to have a projector lamp? Notchy gearbox: is it the same as ND.?

Bizarrely it's the same as the NC, which is the infamous Aisin box

The aesthetics of the Fiat 124 are a non-starter for me.
It's boxy, the stretched body has ruined the front-mid-rear proportions, the grille is too wide and the front lamps (6) look too busy.
I'm not sure what the design team were thinking, but they clearly weren't cut from the same cloth as Pininfarina. A side-by-side with the Duettottanta concept is pretty telling.

Considering it costs more outright, has turbo lag, weighs more and will cost more to service than an ND, I reckon they'd be doing very well if they can sell all of those launch editions in a year.
