buy yourself a pair of the delrin door blocks/bushes whatever they work well holding the doors tight and rattle free-actually hold the whole car tidy especially when you already have the added bonus - the brown davis roll bar -same as mine.
as to the delrin bushes I found the faster you travel the better they work or appear too. I would put them down as my very best and cheapest mod but you do have to abuse the door to close it
best advise there leave one window a bit open prior to closing - no problem

Yes billybunter, i`ve been thinking about them derlin bushes. Have read an argument here, where one said that new Mazda OEM bushes work well too.. then again, a bit concerned about having to slam the doors as well. I suppose there`s only one way to find out..!
" the faster you travel..." >> ha ha.. doubt i will ever find out what real 'speed' feels like you did over in NT.

Re: NA8C JDM Eunos Roadster
Had ‘engine bay clean and degrease – session 2’ yesterday. Session 1 was a few months ago, had to rush it, so I wasn’t too happy about the result then. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother doing this stuff on an old car which is worth a few thousand dollars. But I find it quite therapeutic, so I consider it essential for good mental health.
Also replaced coolant hoses with new silicone hoses from MX5 Mania (complete kit and new jubilee clips). In red of course, for extra kilowatts..!
Refreshed some bits and pieces with high temp paint while we are at it:
It all looks much better under the bonnet now, she is holding all the coolant in so far, so looks like it`s one more minor job done.

Re: NA8C JDM Eunos Roadster
Hello All,
Unfortunately, it appears that my roadster journey might come to a fairly premature pause (didn’t say stop though… one can be hopeful…)
I bought and started setting this car up as a track + weekend runner. Sadly though, it never saw any track time since the RAC track got closed down last month (public events were stopped even before that). At the moment, I cannot be bothered with all the CAMS license stuff and the travel distance to run on either of the remaining two race tracks.
I also started thinking about having a somewhat dual-purpose car which can be a long term project and also a commuter car when required. It’s hard to justify funds going in to something (a proper build) when the missus and baby both can’t jump in and go for a Sunday breakfast run.
So, long story short, picked up this baby yesterday. A 1991 e30 318iS.! Completely different cars in terms of character and handling dynamics, both are capable of creating that stupid grin on the face though..
An engine comparison, just for kicks (published figures):

Thank you sir..!
The car has got close to 300k on the clock, a bit of paint fade on the roof, but is in all original 318iS state.
Anything which has failed has got replaced at some point.
It appears that pretty much all the previous owners were quite generous with maintenance and got things done through agents/workshops. Even the ashtray got replaced at the agents, 96 dollars! I would not pay a stealership to replace an ashtray in a car..!
