The air filter looks like the cai ones they use on golf's.

Ed, how are the vents performance wise? I mean do they extract the engine bay heat?

Yeah the filter has an open mouth.
I had considered doing exactly that at one point, just hadn't got around to it haha.

Yes the vents are very effective actually. I have actually had the car start to overheat, get on a 80kmh road and the temp comes down very quick. I can see the heat waves at traffic lights :lol:

And as the bracing is still intact, should technically still be totally legal so my engineer tells me.
