Re: Ed's MX5
Got some nice Sparco pedals from here, quite happy with them. Just need to clean them a bit and hopefully get some time to install this weekend.

Re: Ed's MX5
So, in my day off boredom, thought I'd do an update on what is done to my car.
Currently it stands at:
-Falken RT615K tyres
-Aggressive alignment as far as factory bits allow (Heasmans)
- MCA XR struts with 9kg front, 6kg rear springs
-Corner weighted to an inch of its life and set at 100mm ride height (legal and gets the control arms level).
-Sparco Sprint Junior driver seat, have another one I'm retrimming for passenger side.
- Center consol delete
- Factory RS style front lip
- Bonnet vents cut around bracing
- Big alloy rad
- Fab9 cop set up
- Ems cold air intake
- Catch Can
- Washer bottle delete, installed a small bladder version instead to free up room.
- Davies craig EWP.
- Haltech PS1000 ECU
- Slotted and dimpled brakes front and rear with QFM a1rm pads front and rear.
- A few engine bits painted cos it looks nice
- Sparco Race pedals
- HID lights
- Converted my factory fog lights to indicators, and the factory indicators to parking lights.
- Nice loud exhaust
- Manual fan switch
- Blue led dash lights
- VDO gauges. Oil pressure, Oil temp and water temp. They are blue backlit using same globes as dash.
- Shift extension
- Delrin door bushes
I think that's it so far.
If anyone reads this and is curious about anything, feel free to ask.

Haha, I'll take some soon.
I don't often take photos of my own car, usually mates cars. Mine is nothing special to look at.

Re: Ed's MX5
Haha ok ok, I'll take some shots on Sunday while I'm doing some work to it.
Vents are not finished. No mesh yet. But yes they are VERY effective.
I have yet to put a new piece of carpet around the centre consol to tidy it up.
Do you want to see the indicators or the HID lights?

Re: Ed's MX5
I'm unfamiliar with that airbox.
Where does it draw air in from?
An open mouth?
You can make it more effective by ducting the fresh air that comes in from the gap behind the headlight on the passenger side into the air box.
The gap I'm talking about is in the top left corner of this photo, on the passenger side:
