Details of the Australian version have been released!

Note: We only get the Abarth version.

The spec sheet:

No retro black bonnet boot option here? Or did I miss it.

Looked like that option in Europe was at no cost while the us was a $2k option.

Also seemed like the optional exhaust is standard here as it is in Europe.

Yeah but would you do that if it was a no cost factory option? Don't think so

Wouldn't go the heritage look. To boy racer for me.

When I first saw the car I wasn't impressed. But it definitely has grown on me.

It'd make a great cruiser.

I note the official release date (Oct 7) is my birthday. Now, if one was to appear in my driveway with a ribbon around it, I'd take it. Seriously.

Rare find - someone with same birthday and even rarer - common interests (MX5). Nice.

I would take one on my birthday also - would actually take any new car (and then swap for an ND) :D

I probably wasn't going to get the blackout, even if it was free. :P

Great to see the black mirrors on the white and the available blue which the USA is not getting (well first 124 are blue).
But where are the tan seats????????

I can see some black, blue or red buyers wanting tan leather.....
At least we get the Recaros, but at what price??

And..... What is the price, $40k ????
Bootz and Boof - On the road to somewhere.

I think I read somewhere that it was 'capped' at a max of $43,500 drive away before options are added......

Good to see not many options, most of the bells and whistles seem to come standard.

Only options I saw were a visibility pack and seat options. Otherwise it's price is ready to go. I did see $43500 drive away as a national price but the online pricing doesn't match that for my, or other random, postcodes.

Just got a call from Oakleigh Chrysler Jeep about a test drive, so why not I say. Interesting prospect, so will see how I feel after the drive.

Yeah, I'm getting $46,781 DA for the manual on the FIAT website. Mazda website says $43,595 DA for the 2.0L GT manual.

The Launch edition adds absolutely nothing of value according to the website. Will they be charging extra for the Launch editions?

Just over 5 cm of tyre wall...
