Hi Folks, new to the mx5 scene
Sorry in advance if this has been covered but i couldn't find anything to answer this question.
I have recently purchase a NA6 with a ultra racing front strut brace already intalled. I just wanted to know if anyone has this combination and if it works?
I have called mx5 Mania but they can confirm it will clear the whiteline brace.
Thanks guys!
-Steve

If this is the right one.....looks pretty good.

Even if it doesn't fit. Id be inclined to remove the strud bar. I would add a lower brace. You'll get more benefit through the CAI than the strud brace

Thanks for the tip and good indication of available space with the photo. Should've thought to go to the ultra racing page.
Much appreciated Stan!

It should be ok.
Even if it rubs a bit you should be able to just cut down manias bracket. (The afm one)
The intake is all rubber mounted anyway, so you can get a good inch or two of movement to work with.

As per STM & HKS above, it should, but set it up first to see where it works best. Pic above is NA8, which has a different cross-pipe & MAF, as opposed to NA6 cross-pipe & AFM. NA6 AFM is longer than NA8 MAF, but it will then depend on NA8 versus NA6 cross-pipe length. Also the position you cut the 75mm hole in the cowl will influence fitting, so set it up first to identify where you need to cut, being careful not to cut too low to avoid ingesting water from cowl drain.

Thanks for the detailed information 93_clubman. It fitted perfectly fine. A lot more room then I expected.
