Good news on the tune! I have just had good tune news from GT Auto when they checked/tweaked mine.

18% increase in torque at 5,000 RPM and 6% at 8,000, bonus is torque comes on at 4,000 now!

Just a FYI that your wheel is still technically detectable. It needs the stock padded cover to be 100% legit.

Hi.
Just reading this thread and no you went to godzilla a business that creates more problems than it solves. I suspect the reason is that people will return and spend more money solving? the problems created in the first place. My experience with them was not nice a car tuned to detonate. Must have thought he would get an engine rebuild.

Yeah he is horrible, from speaking with other tuners he does some pretty dodgy work...which creates business for his competitors I guess. Although from reading up on skyline forums he seems to be the "go to" which raises questions on either his skill set, morals or favouritisms.

Its interesting how this works. There is a go to guy in a totally separate community who has a trail of dead engines behind him and people keep giving him huge amounts of money.

If I understood it Id be rich.

I was under a tricky time frame from doing the PNP Head and Cams and the original tuner whom I would have ideally gone for was Justin from Horsepower Solutions, but he crashed his drag car a few weeks prior and was hospitalised, so I asked around and heard about another place called CMR and did some research and found evidence they they're either half decent or not that great. Happened to be asking a few friends and someone there at the time recommended Mark from Godzilla, praised him up quite a lot etc etc so with limited time I bit the bullet and took the gamble, but it was a lesson well learnt...

Godzilla would appear to focus more on drag/high boost cars/dyno comp cars

So does Horsepower Solutions but his customer service and output quality is much better, Mark from Godzilla just didn't want to know me at all, and left the AFM on and didnt even have the Variable TPS connected to the throttle body for the correct reading, even when i specifically asked him to.

Notwithstanding, you have a tuner now that you are happy with. Looking forward to hearing more good news on the tune.
