either way just have a crack at painting it with the above info and if not happy with your results -just rub it out and try again

Thanks for all the info guys. This has all come about after a "professional" (through Mazda) resprayed my bumper, and it's starting to flake. Amazingly, the original paint is still under there, and wasn't even keyed. Even though it was four years ago, I feel like giving them a call.

Sure does! Called them. $650 excess apparently. More than the cost of a respray.

Oh, the poor paint prep, and the fact someone backed into me, putting cracks along the bumper. Hence the insurance claim.
I doubt I'll get far with Mazda since they painted it four years ago.
