Hi guys
About 2 months ago i managed to get my hands on an NB8A, MT with 100,000km, all stock. I've been able to sort out a few things, but recently a couple of noises have developed which I'm struggling to pinpoint. Specifically, i seem to have some sort of a whirring sound on downrun, usually correlated to rpm dropping from around 1700-750. I've attached a video and was wondering whether anyone else has experienced anything like this. Its definitely engine/exhaust related, and no heat shields are loose from my observations under the car.

I also have a clutch that squeaks upon take off - a sound similar to the squeak of chalk on a chalkboard. Clutch seems absolutely fine, though. Not major but quite audible. Originally had the clutch fork squeal, but fixed that one up with some grease, so this issue is separate.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Josh

I don't know about the whirring sound, but the squeak sounds like either a clutch throw-out or input shaft spigot bearing.

I would check the tightness of the belts.

+1 to both the above - if not loose drive belt/s, then also check timing belt.
